Lo, on the right.

"What’s your story?"

"I was born in Northern Spain and grew up in Fresno, Ca. I attended Santa Clara University and played D-1 Basketball for the Broncos. I am now working for a high-tech company doing sales."

"Why do you like basketball, and why do you play?"

"When I am playing my best in a game with good competition, there is no better rush in the world. Maximum concentration meets difficulty and I don’t even realize that i am concentrating. I am so absorbed in what I am doing that I cease to be a conscious actor but my mind is working as good as ever.  I also consider it an outlet for personal expression, as weird as that sounds, but I kind of think of balling as some kind of spatial art form. I value aesthetics and love to make a flashy pass or completely throw off my defender.”

"What’s the biggest difference in playing basketball with men vs. women?"

"The biggest difference I think is the way the offense is measured. The game and the passion are the same - however, the manipulating of the plays I believe can be the main difference."

“Do you think you are treated differently when you play with guys?”

"Yes, of course.  Whenever I play with guys and possibly if I take a charge, the game stops and everyone looks at me like "oh no, the girl is down." Keep Playing! Girls are just as tough as boys!"
